Have your say on the Black Cats’ season

-

The dust has settled on the disappointment of Sunderland AFC’s play-off defeat. There’ll be no return to Wembley Way in the coming days. Instead, a fourth season in League One awaits the Black Cats and their loyal supporters.

But now is a time for both reflection and to look forward to what the 2021/22 campaign may bring. And that’s why we want to hear YOUR views.

Who would you like to see stay on Wearside? And who would you be happy to see depart?

We want to know what you’re thinking. Which is why we have launched our annual Big SAFC Survey.

Despite missing out on promotion, the arrival of new owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus means there is still a lot of optimism among fans that the club is heading in the right direction again.

But how much of a summer war chest do you think he needs to provide to build a squad capable of going up next time around?

And what do you think about the man in the managerial hot seat, Lee Johnson?

A few weeks ago, Sunderland were sitting pretty in the table and automatic promotion looked to be a real possibility. So what do you think went wrong and where Sunderland can improve?

There are many questions we are keen to hear you answer. Who is to blame for the failure to win promotion? Which players deserve new contracts? Which areas of the squad should be the priority to strengthen?

Head to the Echo’s website and have your say. The results will surely make for fascinating reading when we deliver them in the coming days. Don’t delay, have your say!
