STORY

What would you like to see move into the Sunderland Debenhams store?

Tracey Botham: We need Crowtree Leisure Centre back, would be nice for everyone.

Brian Hill: Something like The Gate would be excellent. Need things like this to actually get the town up and running ago like 25 year ago. Should have put Stacks outside the top of the Bridges as well.

Rosalind Grant: Definitely a Leisure Centre again with a proper family swimming pool like what we had and an ice rink. Easy access to it from public transport.

Julia Thompson:

A food court would be nice, but basically a selection of smaller stores covering clothes, shoes, crafts, sport, home furnishings etc.

James Mclaren:

Be good to pull it down and maybe extend the current car park so there’s more parking in town centre for people to park cars. Just an idea.

Deborah Fitzsimmons: M&S or Next bigger stores more choices, we need some decent shops,

Elaine Watt: New leisure centre – pool like the old leisure, kids play area, something for teenagers, cafes.

Brett Redmayne: Food court would be a great idea, or possibly move the cinema from Sunniside into the centre of town.

Wayne Mckibbin: Give us back a leisure centre! Somewhere! Anywhere!

Callum Lawson: A food court like Eldon Square would be good, need more choice for places to eat in Sunderland.

Leanne Rodgers: Some decent shops or a House of Fraser or Fenwicks.

Evelyn Patterson: It would be lovely if it was a Mall with different shops.

Emma Olsen: Range of different activities for all age ranges of kids, soft plays, autism and sensory rooms, gaming stations, chill out rooms, pool tables etc.

Chloe Maddison: Bars a bit like The Gate in Newcastle.
