FA condemns “disgusting behaviour” after England players receive racist abuse following Italy defeat.

Elizabeth Warren: The whole team deserved better. Racism is never right in life itself. Time people grew up and became more civilised.

Lesley Dickman: I am ashamed of these people.

Pauline Bainbridge:

They should seek them out and ban them from sports events.

Bev Beresford: No need for this hate.

Marlene Gilbertson: How sad that these young lads who gave us so much joy in these awful times are being abused. When will racial discrimination stop?

Rebecca Ashton: We need to do more then be appalled. We need to do more then condemn.

Phil Hopper: This is what happens when you have Johnson and Patel refusing to condemn the booing of players for taking a knee against racism.

Alan Knighting: It is appalling that some players are being singled out for abuse when all they did was to fail in taking a penalty kick.

Jo Tasker: Name, shame and jail them.

Patricia Best: Go boys into your bright futures. Ignore the morons they are absolute idiots with unacceptable behaviour.

Diane Tucker: There is no need for this behaviour and they should be banned from all England games to show they can't get away with racist behaviour. England players need respect.

Bev Bell: My heart goes out for the England players, very proud of them, much respect.

Gill Abbott: Makes me sick. Also the dirty tactics by the Italian team during the game but FA said nothing about that.

Gemma Mckie: This is shocking there is no need for anyone to be racist to any one never mine our own football team members! I think they played really good, to be in the final was brilliant, we have got this next time!
