20mph plan for large part of Sunderland

Council bosses in Sunderland are planning to introduce a 20mph speed limit in part of the city.

TheSunderl­andCityCou­ncil order – under the terms of theRoadTra­fficAct,willmake 20mph the speed limit in over 30streetsa­ndlanesint­heMillfiel­d area of the city.
