THORBEN HOFFMANN

Showed his quality with a superb first-half save, moments before Stewart got the crucial opening goal. Distribution was solid throughout and his save shortly before the penalty was superb. 7

CARL WINCHESTER

Drove forward impressively throughout but had some difficult moments in the second half as Morton began to make threatening runs from the left wing. 6

BAILEY WRIGHT

Started the game very well but did give Morton a few openings through the contest. 6

CALLUM DOYLE

Played some excellent balls forward from the back, and generally defended well against a lively forward line. 7

DENNIS CIRKIN

A superb defensive performance and grew in confidence driving forward, too. Backed up his excellent display last week and is really showing his quality. Looks a fine, fine addition. 7

DAN NEIL

Played some lovely through balls but generally one of his quieter games and it was not a great surprise when Lee Johnson turned to the experience of Corry Evans midway through the second half. 6

LUKE O’NIEN

Kept the ball moving at a really good tempo in the first half, and battled well throughout the second. One of his most impactful displays this season. 7

LYNDEN GOOCH

Plenty of industry and carried an attacking threat at times. 6

ELLIOT EMBLETON

Not as influential as usual in open play, with Fleetwood controlling possession through much of the second half. But he still found a way to make a telling contribution, his free kick for Stewart’s opener inch perfect. 6

ROSS STEWART

Made a number of crucial interventions to defend set pieces from his own box, and took his goal well in the first half. 6

Subs CORRY EVANS

Battled well in the latter stages but his team couldn’t hold out. 6

NATHAN BROADHEAD

Looked bright and showed some good touches in a brief cameo. 6

FREDERIK ALVES

Made some good headers late on and little he could do about the eventual goal. 6
