Independent pub bosses have banded together to help drive footfall in the city centre.

Kathryn Hubbard: They should put a small bus between town centre and seafront then people can go to both.

Neil Hudson: Sea front is becoming the place to go for a night out, can honestly say that Sunderland town centre is well below par.

Ben Marshall: Great idea!I have never understood why Sunderland have all the offices and call centres in Wessington way and Doxford Park. The key to getting the bars and shops busy in the city centre is to moving all those business to the city centre.

James Burman: Good to see this group take a proactive and positive approach to improving the city. Well done all and good luck.

Graeme Collinson: Good luck guys, great news banding together like this, promoting each others business is an amazing idea.

Margo Lax: Good luck to

you all.Never give up.

Robert Hunter: Could do with some decent music. Everything else should fall in place.More free style raw talent .Certainly out there.

Katie Hillman: Hope it’s a succes.

Paul McCerery: Good luck too all the pubs involved. Ignore the negative comments, the comments come from negative people.

Irene Hadlington: Well that's the pubs sorted now to sort the shops.

Henry Coyne: Good luck with that one.

John Lamb: Seaburn is the place to be at the moment so the city centre pubs have a job on their hands.

Jason Taylor: The council has to help with free parking after 6pm like Newcastle Council does.

Rachel Briggs: What city centre? We have lots of charity shops and empty units, and an empty Debenhams that will stand there just as long as Joplings did.
