Takeaway turned down for planning permission after setting up without approval.

Paul Green: They should shut down all the shops that have used that hideous wooden cladding. It's an eyesore. As regards the decision to close the shop, it's a joke, considering the amount of takeaways in the locality.

John Harvey: People kick off about the ridiculous number of takeaways on the road. And now when something is done about. They kick off. No win situation.

Paul Fletcher: Crazy decision. The horse has already bolted in that street. It’s basically the heart of Sunderland’s takeaways, being almost slap bang in the middle of the city. Another takeaway won’t make any difference at all.

Mandi Green: How can they state their decision is based on childhood obesity when it’s described as a healthy hot food takeaway? Doesn’t make sense.

Donna Crossley:

Absolute joke! Refused for being an unhealthy fast food shop but yet there’s any amount of others down that road!

Stephen Veitch: So an already established business is now without a property to trade from yet they were previously about half a mile away from the proposed new site.

Trevor Byrne: Takeaway alley. No shops of any worth on Pallion Road just food shops.

Vikki Bond: What? Didn't we all grow up on similar food and didn't get fat.

John Harvey: It was set up without approval. End of story.

Claire Campbell: Is that because it's a small business and not a massive corporate chain?

Lea Mills: It's a healthy hot food takeaway ideal to help kids eat properly, food is amazing and I would be over the moon if my child had dinner from there.
