Cole eager for a Silksworth CW reaction & return to winning ways

Silksworth CW manager Jamie Cole is hoping to move on from a “disaster” after his side crashed to a 6-1 defeat at Darlington­Townlastwe­ekend.

Cole’s men take a break from Wearside League action on Saturday when they visit Windscale in the first round of the Alan Hood Trophy.

The Silksworth boss wants his side to show their quality by putting last weekend’s defeat behind them in fine style in Cumbria.

Hesaid:“Wearelooki­ngfor a reaction after last weekend’s disaster. I have no issue with losing to be honest with you.

“It’s all about how we lose and some lads need to work a lotharder,sowewillbe­looking for that this weekend.”

Liam Mulvain, Joe Jones and Jamie Talbot will all miss the trip to Cumbria.

Farringdon Detached face a tough challenge if they are to progress in the Durham Trophy as they travel to Wearside Leagueprom­otionchall­engers Darlington Town.
