Horden CW assistant manager Andy Colledge wants an improved performance from his side as they prepare to travel to Boldon CA on Saturday.

Horden travel to The Villa on the back of a run of just one win in their last four games following Tuesday night’s 3-0 home defeat against Chester-le-Street Town.

Saturday’s game against their former Wearside League rivals is unlikely to provide any relief with their hosts targeting sixth consecutive league win.

Ahead of the game, Colledge said: “Tuesday night’s performance against Chester-le-Street was unacceptable.

“It was, by far, the worst performance of the season and we will be expecting far better at Boldon on Saturday.”

There was mixed news on the injury front as Jak Colledge and Josh Broom remain unavailable, but Olly Hotchkiss and Keiron Campbell do return to contention.

A suspension has ruled player-joint manager Keith Graydon out of Sunderland West End’s visit to fellow promotion challengers Sunderland West End.

Managerless crisis club Durham City go searching for their first win of the season when they visit Bedling

ton Terriers on Saturday (2pm kick-off ).

The Citizens are without a manager following Mark Sherwood’s decision to step down in the aftermath of Tuesday’s 16-1 defeat at Carlisle City.

Suspended forward Kurtis Howes is out of Billingham Synthonia’s visit to Washington and Jarrow are boosted by the return of Brian Johnson, Lewis Leech, Graeme McCall and Joe Ames for their trip to

Carlisle City.

Adam Storey (groin) and Matty Lovegreen (hamstring) are major doubts for Willington’s home game against Esh Winning and leaders Heaton Stannington could hand a debut to new signing Rhys Groves when they visit Birtley Town.

Groves’ former club Blyth Town host Redcar Town and promotion chasing Newcastle University visit struggling Newcastle University.
