Sunderland sub postmistress who ‘lost home and business’ cleared after wrongful conviction in Horizon scandal.

-

Paula Horsfall: I hope this family are adequately compensated for all their losses and trauma. The whole Horizon debacle is an utter scandal. There is an excellent podcast on the BBC Sounds app detailing the scale of the cover up and damaged caused to so many people.

Lee Harnett: Sincere joy for you all and thankfully hasn’t broken you as a family. I hope you are rewarded with all that has been lost and more.

Brian Hill: Surely a substantial amount should be paid by the

Post Office to all these people for defamation of character and many years of hardship and suffering.

David Taylor: Appalling. The post office knew that there were numerous flaws in their systems yet withheld this from the court. Those decision makers should serve time.

Jonathan Miller-Cole: Take the Post Office to court for compensation.

Brian Roffe: Someone should go to prison for this. The lack of management curiosity shown here is staggering. As more and more of these cases came to light its seems that noone in the PO thought it necessary to investigate. Lives ruined as a consequence.

Jatinder Binning: My god the hell they have been through they need more then just having their name cleared.

Mark Newton: Absolute disgrace.

Julie Sykes: This whole situation has been disgusting!! Reputation lost, treat like criminals, some have died before seeing justice. Truly a scandal. Let’s see what happens next.

Annie Murray: Disgraceful, scary too. I hope someone is held responsible for the faulty system and cover up and the families cleared have compensation.

Paula Coull: Absolutely awful I hope they are compensated, shocking from the post office.

Don Simpson: It happened to 100's of Post Office branch owners and all down to PO hierarchy.
