Late winner consigns Red Star to third defeat in four matches
Seaham Red Star slipped to a third defeat in their last four games as Bililingham Town battled to all three points at the Independent Utility Advice Arena.
Louis Anderson got Red Star back on level-terms with an equaliser early in the second-half, after Connor Rennison fired the visitors in front with just eight minutes on the clock.
Rennison would be the match-winner for his side as he struck a decisive blow with 15 minutes left to give them all three Northern League Division One points.
Whickham continued their good home form as two goals from Nathan Greenwood gave them a 2-0 win over West Auckland Town.
Whitley Bay’s poor run continued as a Shaun Ryder brace helped Northallerton Town to a 3-2 home win against Derek Forrest’s side.

The two sides looked on their way to a share of the spoils as goals from Allotment duo Liam Beeston and Matty Hayton sandwiched efforts by Louis Johnson and Ben Jackson. However, a late strike from Allotment midfielder Rui Martins gave the points to Jay Bates’ side.
There was another fivegoal game at Millfield, as Crook Town edged Newton Aycliffe. Marc Costello and James Beauchamp netted for Aycliffe – but they were left
empty-handed by goals from Joe Smith. Eddie Thomas and Ewan Forster.
Ryhope CW progressed into the second round of the Durham Challenge Cup with a 7-0 hammering of Wearside
League club Wolviston. Robbie Bird and Kyle Davis led the way with a brace and there was a goal apiece for Denver Morris and new signing Oscar Taylor. A Joe Joyce own-goal only added to a poor
performance from the Teesside outfit.
Consett and North Shields will take their place in Monday’s FA Vase fourth round draw after impressive wins on Saturday.
Two goals from Colin Larkin and one apiece from Arjun Purewal and Dale Pearson helped Consett to a 4-0 win at Newcastle Benfield, while Ryan Carr’s injury-time strike helped North Shields to a 3-2 win at Barton Town.
However, Billingham Synthonia saw their run come to an end as a Deane Smalley brace and a Max Leonard goal condemned them to a 3-0 defeat at Wythenshawe Town.
