SunderlandWestEndmanager Steven Stewart is hoping to see a big crowd get behind his sidewhentheyhostEasington Colliery tonight.

Both sides head into the game in positive form and are currently sat in the Ebac Northern League Division Two play-off places.

West End are unbeaten in their last five and have made a fortress out of Ford Hub after winning nine of their 13 games on their home patch.

Stewart is relishing the prospect of Friday night football and meeting a fellow contender for a top-five place.

He said: “We are expecting a big crowd and it is really a big game for both clubs.

“Everybody at the club is looking forward to taking on Easington and we know it’s a game we have to win if we are to continue pushing for the play-offs.

“It would be good to see the local community get behind us as we try to get through what will be a tough game for both sides.”

West End will be boosted by the return of several key players including Brian Norton, Harry Munday, Brad Wilson and Neal Bussey

There are two other Division Two fixtures on Friday night as Birtley Town make the short trip to Chester-leStreet Town and Willington travel to Teesside to take on Redcar Town.

Boldon CA will hope

to continue their play-off push and inflict more pain on struggling Durham City when the two sides meet at Hall Lane on Saturday.

The visitors will be without Andrew Hunter and Sam Attewell but will have Dan Gray back in contention.

Glen Hargrave is back in the Jarrow squad for their home game against Newcastle University and Billingham Synthonia have no new injury worries for their visit to Tow Law Town.

Two sides in the bottom three meet as Esh Winning

host Washington and there was mixed news for Horden CW ahead of their home game with Blyth Town.

They will be without Mark Moon, Luke Bell and Ewan Simpson but are boosted by the return of Liam Dunn, Josh Broom and Kieron

Campbell.

Michael Bell will be in the Ryton and Crawcrook Albion squad for their visit to Brandon United and leaders Heaton Stannington will look to bounce back from their defeat against Albion when they travel to Carlisle City.
