Life Is Strange

Another chance to visit Arcadia Bay following Life Is Strange’s instalment release in 2015, where female protagonist Max Caulfield witnesses a murder and discovers she has the power to rewind time. This choice-driven narrative adventure sees Max and friend Chloe embroiled in a gripping mystery to locate a missing local girl. The remastered collection, although a little buggy, also contains the 2017 prequel, Before the Storm, and boasts updated visuals and animations, and a host of bonus content fans will enjoy. 7/10

While Bridge Constructor may soundlikethestructuralengineering simulator you’ve been waiting for all your life, it’s actually a sneakily testing little puzzle game. A decade or so old now, it arrives on Apple Arcade free for subscribers, with new levels to try, landscapes to enjoy and vehicles for your bridges to support. The concept is bulletproof and the puzzles are infuriating in the best possible way, but sadly the control system is so clunky, it may have many giving upbeforetheyevenstarttoexplore the new content on offer. 6/10
