STORY

What’s the kindest thing a stranger has every done for you?

Laurin Ashcroft: Said thank you when I held the door open for them.

Dave Knightley: You don't hear much of that these days, but it's always nice to be nice.

Bryony Jade Fucile:

When I was a kid (about 7 maybe), I got lost on Weymouth beach and a lady called Pat took me to the area for lost kids. I've always remembered her and it must've been around 25 years ago!

Billy Hood: Picked me up when I was unconscious in a shop doorway in South Shields. It was my 18th birthday obviously too much to drink. That man was immense. Paul Elliot that was your Dad. Saved me and I will never forget him.

Emma Pattison: Saved my daughter’s life.

Deborah Lincoln: Got a spider out of my hair that I didn’t know was there and told me after so I didn’t panic. Angel in disguise.

Nicola Devlin: Nicola Rice changed my life. Forever grateful.

Lee Richadson: Went to Greggs before, got a bacon sarnie, latte and sausage roll, left my card in the car. The lass on the counter said don't worry, just take it. Still not sure about that, if I looked homeless at the time, or she just really wanted to be nice.

Sellers Davison: Left me a expensive bottle of Retsina in a restaurant to have with my evening meal and he has left the island I was on to return to England before I could say thank you.

Lorraine Holbrook:

A man by the pool in California saved my life literally. I was choking, he did the Heimlich manoeuvre on me.

Amanda Davison: I had someone help pay for my food shopping while I was in and out of hospital with my newborn.

Sally Brewis: Donated his bone marrow. After several years we were allowed to meet up and we keep in contact now, 26 years later.

Fahren Keelly: A kind man give me an extra £2 to pay for my shopping.
