Groups to share anti-crime funding
Youth organisations in the Northumbria Police are sharing £12,000 to fund projects aimed at reducing violent crime.
The Northumbria Violence Reduction Unit–funded by Police and Crime Commissioner Kim McGuinness – says the cash is engaging at least 1,300 young people in projects which help them develop and tackle local crime issues.
