What do you think of the plans for the new £14million, 650-space multi-storey car park in Sunderland Riverside?

Kinglsey Okojie: This looks amazing. I am so proud of the way our city is developing.

Lizzie Newby: I like the moss tower bit and it will be good to have different parking options for when the other venues are built.

Keiron Tate: More investment in an area that's starting to come together nicely. In the last few months the yard, Culture House and this have been approved alongside the new hotel, offices, eye infirmary, housing etc that's being built (And this doesn't include everything that's been done around the stadium) keep the investment coming and people will use and visit the city more!

David Miller: That looks fabulous. I've seen similar architecture with "living walls" providing amazing natural habitats for creatures in urban areas.

Chris Roper: What a total waste of money.

Gemma Maskell: No point in having the car park when there’s nothing in the Bridges.

Teresa Snaith: Yeah great news as St Mary's now seems to be a private car park for all staff in the new City Hall. Some reduction in charges would be most welcome as cheaper to travel to Newcastle on the metro than pay Sunderland parking charges.

Lynsay Straughangardner: Waste of time and money, there's nothing in Sunderland to attract people to come to the City. Also I can imagine the cost to park there would be expensive just like the many other car parks there at present.

Phyllis Reay: More money wasted need shops. Why do people want a car park when there are no shops?

Carolyn Scott: Sorry don't like it. Few years time it will look horrendous. Not liking it one little bit.

Steven Spoors: It's a welcome addition, but I think 'stunning' is perhaps stretching things a bit.

Jackie Walton: Better than a brutal concrete slab sided structure.
