Seaton Building up timely promotion push momentum

Seaton Buildings left it late to secure a crucial point in their pursuit for promotion from Division Two of the Sunderland and District Over-40s League.

Away at Hartlepool Raby Arms, Seaton controlled controlled the midfield in the earlystage­swithouttr­oublingthe home side.

After already going close, Lloyd opened the scoring for Raby with a great finish.

Seaton still bossed possession after the break, but still couldn’t trouble Raby’s back line. But with one minute remaining, Seaton equalised through John James to floor the battling Raby side.
