STORY

A Sunderland takeaway has been handed a one star food hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency.

Michael Simpson: Been going since they moved in (mid 90s) and the couple that run it are two of the most friendliest people you'll ever meet and the food has always been delicious. Don’t let this put you off, never had a bad meal from there in 20+ yrs.

Leanne Wooton: I've had food from there before, was very nice, but doesn't matter if it was nice or not, the food was cooked in an unhygienic establishment. To be given one star is frightening, should be immediately closed. God knows what's in that kitchen.

Aaron Copeland: Never had a bad meal from them, the couple who run the place are two of the loveliest chattiest people I’ve ever met.

Lyndsey Anderson: I've always used this place since the day it opened and the food is delicious. The staff are lovely too.

Chris Turnbull: i work as a delivery driver for the shop and there is nowt wrong with the place, just lack of paperwork and they have since put measures in place to correct the issues and are expecting another visit from the inspectors in the near future.

Linzi Carr: I love the food from here the Chinese guy is always chatty and friendly I will still order from here regardless.

Andy Johnson: Been going for 22 years not going to stop now.

Katy Turner: No I wouldn't like food poisoning, I'll stick cooking at home.

Jamie Hopper: I used to eat there every week when I was younger, I know it's a Chinese but I would have chicken burger and they would always give me free chips.

Karen Liddle: Been going here for years and food always fantastic.

Scott Hembrough: Never had a bad meal from there.

David Joyce: Paperwork is now an absolute nightmare probably why they lost ratings.
