STORY:

What do you think of the suggestion to put British clocks forward by an extra hour to help with the cost of living crisis? This would put the UK in the same time zone as France, mainland Spain and Germany.

Chaz Malone: ??????? Would make no difference at all except for shorter working days in the building industry and kids travelling to/home from school come winter in the dark. It would certainly be of benefit to big companies and stock market traders hence the suggestion would make no difference to the normal people except make life harder. Given corporate greed is the cause of the crisis in the first place then why change to suit their business interests?

Michael McCulla: How about you just put the clocks forward 10 years and wake us up when the inflation is over?

Jennifer Hudson:

Or how about fat cat companies sharing some of their millions of pounds of profits instead of increasing prices to the little people!

Tony Walters: Or I know this could be radical but pay people a living wage and put a cap on energy prices like said countries

have done…

Geoff Bullock: Might be more beneficial turning the clock back to 1945 when we had a backbone.

Ray Carrick: I think stop putting the food, petrol and gas up would be better, and not forgetting getting rid of those two in Downing Street.

Irene Field: If it helps then yes but i have my doubts!

Maria Weldon: There is plenty of evidence to suggest that BST does more harm than good as it is. Seems like a cheapskate distraction to me.

Jeff Anderson: What a stupid ignorant idea... try putting more money in people’s pockets instead.

Jenna Eastland: I must be a bit slow but someone explain what difference it would make.

James SummersonHollywood: Why, will the price of everything change by an hour?

Tracy Crow: Not sure how it will make a difference!
