Gifts in Kind are what we call "as-new” donations that we receive from businesses.
This could be anything from clothing, accessories and toys, to homeware, and much more.
We have a team who make the process easy for businesses to donate stock, before ensuring the goods are transported to our stores.
Donating goods to Barnardo’s is a great way for businesses to dispose of returns and end of line stock, whilst freeing up space for new ranges; it also reduces waste, and prevents the use of landfill.
In addition, donating to Barnardo’s shows your customers and colleagues that you care.
Your donations will enhance your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy – inarguably an important part of every business’s agenda.
Gifts in Kind are a taxefficient way of supporting Barnardo’s.
If you donate goods that your business makes or sells, you can claim the cost of these goods in your business accounts. Please find more information at HMRC’s website
We have drivers nationwide and would be delighted to pick up any items that you may have.
We have experience of collecting from branches and warehouses, and will remove any labels or packaging to keep the cost of donating to a minimum.
