Trio hit the road for Brad charity

Three Sunderland fans are walking from Roker to Whitburn to raise money for the Bradley Lowery Foundation.

Colin Teer, 73, who is undergoing treatment for incurable stomach cancer, and his friends Bob Wilkie and Peter Graham are taking to the streets with donation buckets on Sunday, to collect cash for the charity.

The Bradley Lowery Foundation was establishe­d in memory of six-year-old Bradley,fromBlackh­all,wholosthis life in July 2017, after a brave battle with neuroblast­oma.

Since then, the Bradley Lowery Foundation has raised more than £3m for dozens of poorly children across the UK, establishe­d a dedicated supportlin­eforthefam­iliesofchi­ldren with life limiting illnesses andisbuild­ingarespit­ecentre in Yorkshire.

The ‘Walk for Bradley’ will begin at 10.30am at the Cat'n'Dogs kiosk in Roker and will end at Whitburn Cricket Club.

The Bradley Lowery Foundation is developing Super Brad's Pad – a holiday home for children with life-threatenin­g illnesses being built by the Foundation in Scarboroug­h.

Before his death, Bradley's family and friends pledged to cement his legacy by helping other children suffering lifechangi­ng illnesses.

The holiday home’s location has been especially chosen as it was one of Bradley’s favourite places to visit.
