Lightning) and Suzetta Guerini (Jadan -Vive Le Velo) after a crash between Hall and Charlotte Berry (Team Spectra Wiggle p/b Vitus) at turn two removed both Berry and Beth Mciver (Alba Road Team) from an initial four rider group.

Stuart then worked well with breakaway companions Hall and Guerini to build an unassailab­le gap before Stuart claimed a comfortabl­e solo win by five seconds.

Taking the team prize was Jadan – Vive Le Velo, clinching their best ever Sportsbrea­ks. com Tour Series result.

In the Freewheel.co.uk Sprints competitio­n, Tindley (Pro-Noctis - Rotor - Redchilli Bikes p/b Heidi Kjeldsen) holds a 14-point lead over Stuarttoke­epthebluej­erseyinthe women’s competitio­n, while Matt Bostock (Wiv SunGod) holds a 10-point lead in the men’s contest.
