Matchday Football Manager

iOS

Free, Age rating: 4+

If Fantasy Football is your thing, this strategic team-builder is a thrill a minute, with short games allowing you to build up your team and promote your place in the league almost instantly – if you make the right decisions of course. The graphics are colourful and you can choose everything down to the location of your home stadium. The one improvement I would love to see in this game is the opportunity to play female teams, or as a female manager – but hey, progress takes time, right? 8/10

Saints Row is ‘nostalgic’. If you enjoyed the first three instalments of the criminal openworld series – but weren’t so hooked on four and five with their silly powers, risque weapons and a weird musical set in hell – then you’ll fit into this one easily, as it will feel very familiar. In this iteration, you become the Boss of the Saints, and rule your criminal empire with three mates. Rival gangs need to be taken out one by one to take over the city. There are hundreds of collectibles to track down6/10
