Recruitment agency creates new role to grow
Sunderland-based Sarah McKenna HR Recruitment Ltd is celebrating it’s six-year milestone with a new team member.
After a strong start to the year, the firm is looking to further grow the business – starting with the launch of a new website and the appointment of Natalie Bell in the new role of People Partner.
Company founder Sarah McKenna says relationships have been at the heart of the agency’s success story, with a high percentage of clients who are now long-standing customers and repeat business to expand their growing teams.
With an established base at Hope Street Xchange, Sarah McKenna says she is on a mission to continue to grow the business and invest in the region and – in particular Sunderland.
She said: “As a Sunderland girl, I love seeing the business grow here and am committed to employing more people from the local area.
"We have built the most amazing network of clients and contacts over the last six years and I want to create a supportive, flexible and enjoyable working environment where people can be their best.”
She added: “I’m very keen to grow the team organically where people are in roles they are passionate about and enjoy.”
The agency recruits across all industries and specialises in HR, learning and development.
Sarah added: “I have always held regular HR events but due to business demands I haven’t had as much time to focus on these as I would like. "Now with Natalie on board I’m excited to build a programme of regular events with speakers from businesses in the local area.”
