HERE’S HOW WE PLAN TO MAKE THE GOOD VIBES FLOW:

Surf Girl - - Motivation -

1. STAY POSITIVE

Leave any bad vibes back in 2017. This is your chance to have a fresh start and a new outlook on life. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones and you’ll start having positive results.

2. DON’T TAKE YOUR SURFING TOO SERIOUSLY

Laughter is the best medicine, especially when applying it to your surfing. Learning to laugh at your wipeouts, mistakes and mishaps is important, because isn’t surfing meant to be fun?

3. GET CREATIVE

Explore and nurture your creative side, especially if it doesn’t come naturally. There’s creativity within everyone. So instead of picking up your phone to scroll through your social media feed, why not pick up a pen and write or pick up a paint brush and paint.

4. EAT WELL

Nourish your body from within. Not only will you be left feeling physically better, but good food boosts your mood. Don’t restrict your body from treats, because you’ll only crave them even more. Allow yourself time to indulge in the food love and find the balance between healthy foods and yummy cakes – it’s all about moderation.

5. EXERCISE

If you’re new to working out then start small: walk or cycle to work, get out on your lunch break or join an exercise class. Explore new ways of keeping fit and don’t restrict yourself to one activity. There are so many ways to keep fit and healthy and most of these can be really fun.

6. CHANGE YOUR CAREER

Taking time away from work allows you to reflect on your whole approach to life: in love, in surfing and especially in your career. If you’re unhappy at work then do something about it. Use 2018 to shake things up. Re-train, go freelance, whatever you choose to do. There may never be the right time, so why not make the right time now.

7. FIND YOUR SURF TRIBE

Finding your sisters of the sea will make riding waves all the more enjoyable. Find your crew to go on road trips with, laugh at wipeouts with and cheer with when you charge those waves. We love the saying, ‘your vibe attracts your tribe’, so start sending those positive vibes out and reap the rewards.
