WHAT’S HOT WHAT’S NOT

GOING UP

SHORTY SEASON

Although short wetsuits are good for warm water conditions further afield, there is a small window in Europe when you can finally wear one with out looking silly or being a bit chilly. It’s coming up, so don’t blink or you will miss it!

PUPPIES

Not sure we really need to explain ourselves with this one… puppies are just rad. Cute, cuddly and the perfect companion for summer outdoor activities.

POP COLOURS

If you can’t wear uber-bright colours in the height of summer, then when you can you? Crayola tones and neon shades aplenty.

VEGAN ICE CREAM

We think it’s perfectly acceptable to eat ice cream all year round, but warmer days means upping the ante and the vegan variety is ever-increasing and totally delicious – from organic and soy to cashew nut, coconut milk and avocado.

CRASHING DOWN

ACCIDENTAL SUNBURN

When you go to the effort to slap on the factor 50 but miss a spot and end up with an odd red strip, ugly strap line or finger print effect. Easily done with awful-looking consequences.

CROWDED WAVES AND BEACHES

It’s so sunny out, but oh-so busy.

BUSY SUMMER CALENDARS

Why does all the fun come at once – BBQs, parties, holidays and festivals all crammed in at the same time? If we’re off to a beach gathering then we’re missing out on a garden party.

SUMMER FOOD DISASTERS

We love alfresco eating but nothing grinds our gears more than sand in our food, burnt sausages and lukewarm beverages that have been sitting in the sun.
