The lowdown Jayne Redmond creates handmade ceramics that are individually hand-painted at her studio in Surrey. Her pottery creations are available across a range of products, as collections or as individual pieces, and can be personalised for any occasion.

This Christmas she has created a range of hand-painted baubles that can also be individually personalised. The range is available to buy in Harrods and Jayne will be in store every weekend, from November 3 to December 23, personalising both baubles and treat plates.

The baubles are ceramic and each one is fired in Jayne’s kiln, which she affectionately calls Betty. “I personalise the baubles using a ceramic paint and for my new collection I use 24 karat gold and platinum accents – perfect for hanging on the most luxurious Christmas tree or as a unique memento.” About this series: Surrey Creations is a series by local photographer Philip Traill, exploring people in their work environment, capturing the characters and what they do in a single image.
