Executive chef at Indian restaurant Saffron Summer has been awarded Cobra Good Curry Guide Certificate of Excellence. The Chessington restaurant has also just announced two new menus, including a set price meal and a ‘Kebab, Biryani Street Food Feast’.
Hogs Back Brewery in Tongham is celebrating a double win at the World Beer Awards 2018. Its Outback Pale Ale picked up both a Gold Design Award and a Silver medal in the Golden Pale Ales category. On the win, Rupert Thompson, managing director of Hogs Back Brewery, said: “It’s great to receive accolades for both the beer’s taste and the can design – both are vital to a beer’s commercial success.”
Bill’s in Reigate has been fitted out with a new look and a newly refreshed menu. Founder, Bill Collison, celebrated the Reigate site’s revamped look with a VIP preview party that gave members of the community a chance to sample the new dishes.

Surbiton Farmers’ Market was recently awarded a Kingston Business Excellence Award for its commitment to the community. The not-forprofit community market is run by volunteers and features a nominated ‘Charity of the Month’ stall with funds raised matched by the market.
