Ex­ec­u­tive chef at In­dian restau­rant Saf­fron Sum­mer has been awarded Co­bra Good Curry Guide Cer­tifi­cate of Ex­cel­lence. The Chess­ing­ton restau­rant has also just an­nounced two new menus, in­clud­ing a set price meal and a ‘Ke­bab, Biryani Street Food Feast’.

Hogs Back Brew­ery in Tong­ham is cel­e­brat­ing a dou­ble win at the World Beer Awards 2018. Its Out­back Pale Ale picked up both a Gold De­sign Award and a Sil­ver medal in the Golden Pale Ales cat­e­gory. On the win, Ru­pert Thomp­son, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Hogs Back Brew­ery, said: “It’s great to re­ceive ac­co­lades for both the beer’s taste and the can de­sign – both are vi­tal to a beer’s com­mer­cial suc­cess.”

Bill’s in Reigate has been fit­ted out with a new look and a newly re­freshed menu. Founder, Bill Col­li­son, cel­e­brated the Reigate site’s re­vamped look with a VIP pre­view party that gave mem­bers of the com­mu­nity a chance to sam­ple the new dishes.

A new menu has been un­veiled at The Sur­rey Arms in Cam­ber­ley. The new menu fea­tures a se­lec­tion of small plates and piz­zas, veg­e­tar­ian and ve­gan dishes.

Sur­biton Farm­ers’ Mar­ket was re­cently awarded a Kingston Busi­ness Ex­cel­lence Award for its com­mit­ment to the com­mu­nity. The not-for­profit com­mu­nity mar­ket is run by vol­un­teers and fea­tures a nom­i­nated ‘Char­ity of the Month’ stall with funds raised matched by the mar­ket.
