ISS VANGUARD FUNDED ON THE NEW PLATFORM GAMEFOUND

The highly anticipated game from Awaken Realms, ISS Vanguard, is an epic cooperative campaign telling the story of the first human deep space exploration mission. The game sees you finding a mysterious object with news of different worlds, and the game will see you begin visiting these worlds to understand who and what helped them flourish, creating tense and memorable ongoing campaign as you do. The game has been fully funded, at over £4million, and reached its funding goal in three minutes.

Whilst crowdfunded generally conjures the image of Kickstarter, ISS Vanguard has done so through a new alternative to Kickstarter, with Gamefound. Gamefound began life as a pledge manager (which it remains), but claims to have used the lessons from doing so to now offer a new crowdfunding service that allows creators to offer aspects like automatic stretch goal unlocking, allowing additional pledges at the point of purchase, and overall, more control for the creators. That also means easier and clearer pledging for us gamers too, so we look forward to seeing what comes next.
