The Knizia classic that forces players to fight a war on all fronts – as it is the lowest score you have in a points category that will win (or lose) you the game. Players place tiles and leaders to claim ownership of strategically important locations. Should there be two leaders in one space a scrap will break out. Player compare the strength of their leaders and then commit a number of tiles behind their player screens before revealing their final strength in a literal war of bidding. The winner gets to stay on the board – and hopefully gains enough points for it to be worth it.
