Jay Sabanal was sound asleep at his Southampton home one night in November 2014, along with his four-year-old daughter, Bella, while his wife Liberty, a nurse, was on a night shift.

At 1.30am, the 36-year-old was woken by his daughter screaming, ‘Help me, Daddy!’

Jay quickly realised he couldn’t move. He was in darkness, covered in debris.

But what causes these miraculous occurrences?

Stuart Wilde, author of Miracles (Hay House, £10.87), says: ‘There lies deep within all humankind an immense power; the power is impartial and unemotional.
