Take a Break Fate & Fortune

Mandy’s lucky dip

Each month, Mandy picks two readers at random and gives them a reading...

Forget the family rift and move on Mandy says:

MUM SAYS YOU’RE GOING TO BE LEAVING A JOB SOON BUT THAT YOU WON’T BE COMPLETELY RETIRING. Do you know anyone called Michelle? Your mum is telling me about family problems connected to this person. She says it’s all been left too long to sort out now and that you can’t go back and change what’s happened.

Do you know a James or Jim? I’m picking up sadness around him.

You will be having some strange dreams involving your mum and she will be around you most between now and August.

She says you want to move away from the area you live in and that this will eventually happen. This urge is getting stronger and it’s your mum pulling you.

Have you been looking at photos, both from the past and present?

Finally, your mum says she’s not in pain and is healthy and happy.

Garry says:

I asked Mandy to contact my mum, Hilda, who passed of cancer in 2000, aged 69. I’m an area manager for a driving school and I’m retiring this year. However, I plan to carry on doing some consultancy work a couple of days a week.

Michelle is my sister-in-law and we haven’t spoken for years. I’m glad Mandy and Mum didn’t give me false hope that things could ever be resolved. I think they are spot on – it’s been too long now.

The morning after the reading, my best mate, Jim, rang and told me his brother had passed from Covid.

My daughter, Leanne, lives in Liverpool and keeps trying to persuade me to move there. She’ll be telling me ‘I told you so!’

The part about the photos was right. The other day, my eldest daughter, Natalie, was comparing one of herself to one of Mum on her wedding day and the likeness is amazing.

Stay away from liars

Mandy says:

GRANDMA SAYS SHE WAS AROUND WHEN YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT HAVING SOMEONE CREMATED. You’ve been thinking about dyeing your hair, haven’t you?

There is someone close to you who is having relationship problems. Grandma says to tell her: ‘Be careful who you trust!’

You need to stay away from people who lie and be better at trusting your gut instincts. Look out for Michael who might be a love interest.

I’m being told about someone having problems with a particular type of footwear.

Finally, Grandma says you’re going to come across an old camera and a schoolbook which will be important. She’s also showing me three rings. Do they all belong to the same person?

Shannon says:

I asked Mandy to contact my grandma, Mary, who passed away from bowel cancer nine years ago. It was weird when she mentioned the cremation; the night before the reading my nan on Mum’s side was telling me what songs she would like at her funeral and that she wants to be cremated.

The morning of the reading, I’d been looking at hair dyes. I’m thinking of going dark brown. My best friend recently split up from her partner and I passed on Mandy’s message to her. She’s booked a phone reading with Mandy to find out more.

I’ve been single for two years and have dated some bad men. I’ll look out for Michael.

My mum, Cheryl, has a foot condition which requires her to wear special supportive footwear.

Grandma passed down her ring which had three bands of different coloured gold. I think that’s what she was trying to show Mandy.

I really enjoyed the reading and I’m looking forward to seeing what bits Mandy predicted come true next.
