10-hit psychic challenge
It’s the ultimate test! Who can achieve 10 correct messages in a 30-minute reading? Psychic Lindsay Banks gives a reading to Lila Humayun from Greenwich, London…
1
There is a strong male energy in spirit. He wears his heart on his sleeve. There is a bit of fire here – some might find him tricky, but he has a good sense of humour. I’m being given daffodils and the month of March.
LILA SAYS: HIT! This is my dad who has passed. He wasn’t very good at hiding his feelings and had a very dry sense of humour, which wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea! His birthday was in March.
2
I’m sensing a sapping of energy. You’re usually a vibrant person, but something has happened in recent months which has meant you haven’t felt like yourself.
LILA SAYS: HIT! This is absolutely true. I had a heart attack last year, and I had to have stents put in. It has really wiped me out and it’s taken away my spark.
3
There is heartache and grief connected to a loss. I’m not sure whether it’s your dad or another relationship, but it’s still affecting you.
LILA SAYS: HIT! The heartache and grief refer to my mum’s passing. She died of cancer and it was very traumatic, with a lot of emotional fallout and difficulties within the family. What happened around that time broke my heart. It happened many years ago, but it still affects me today.
4
I’m getting the Five of Cups tarot card. There are three cups which have fallen over, but two are still standing. The message is, see things from a different perspective. There are still relationships to be cherished.
LILA SAYS: HIT! This card has a real meaning for me. I often mull over my family problems. I’ve lost contact with some very dear relatives, which makes me feel sad. However, my daughters have been rocks to me – really strong.
5
I can see higher education. This could lead to transformation and new opportunities.
LILA SAYS: HIT! Interesting! I am learning Spanish at the moment – I’m actually getting quite good at it – I also speak German, Swahili and Punjabi, and I’m polishing up my English grammar too.
6
You’re not able to put the action you need to take into motion. A declutter of your home is needed. If you can put things in boxes your mind will become clearer.
LILA SAYS: HIT! I have started to declutter a bit, as I am moving to a new apartment. I’ve started putting things in boxes. I have to confess I’m a bit of a hoarder – I’m the kind of person who goes to a charity shop to drop stuff off and comes back with even more!
7
You’re very giving, very charitable. But you do have a tendency to give your time and energy to one particular person, trying to fix them. The blinkers go on, meaning it’s hard to think about others.
LILA SAYS: HIT! True. If I find a project like a homeless person, every day I make sure they’ve got food and then, when that is sorted, I’m on to the next project or person! I think my daughters get a bit frustrated with my obsessions!
8
I’m being told, ‘shy bairns get naught’! You’re not good at asking for what you need. If you need something, ask the universe for it!
LILA SAYS: HIT! I’m always asking for signs from the universe, and maybe a rainbow will suddenly appear. But what I am not so good at, is getting the amount of money I need to not worry about the future.
9
One of your children is looking for material success. She’s involved in something creative – the fashion industry?
LILA SAYS: HIT! My daughter is trying to make her way and does work in fashion.
10
You have a psychic gift. Your words and hands are healing, although you’re not confident.
LILA SAYS: HIT! Yes, I have a gift. I started to hear voices telling me things and I can sense if someone is in trouble. I pick up on other people’s emotions, even strangers in the street. However, I found it difficult to deal with, so I closed off from it. Perhaps I need to look at ways I can safely channel it.
