Tech billionaire Elon Musk has long dreamt of colonising Mars and last year said he was ‘confident’ his company, Space X, would land the first humans there ‘in about six years’. But Musk’s plans may have been predicted by a German scientist 70 years ago! A 1952 science fiction novel, Project Mars by Wernher von Braun, describes a Martian leader called ‘Elon’! The eerie co-incidence was identified a few years ago, but recently re-emerged on social media.
