Do spirits know they are DEAD?

QThere are quite a few films in popular culture where characters interact with ghosts who don’t realise they’re dead. As a medium have you heard of real-life incidences of this and has it ever happened to you?

AOver the years of working with Psychical Research, I have heard stories like this. Personally, however, I’ve found that in most cases, the spirit knows they have moved on and has been attracting attention in order to pass on a message to their loved one. Remember, films like Sixth Sense depend upon suspense. Real life is much more straight forward!
