Take a Break Fate & Fortune

Should I feel GUILTY?

-

Q

My adoptive mum died four years ago and I’ve since found my ‘real’ mum. She had me very young and I feel no anger towards her, in fact we’re getting to know each other. But I feel guilty as I wish I’d asked for my adoptive mother’s blessing to find my ‘real’ mum. Marie, 66, Hampshire

A

The love that comes through from your adoptive mum is strong and I hear her saying, ‘Don’t be silly. Of course it’s natural to want to find your history and past.’ In a way, where one mother passed over, another has come through. From a spiritual side, your adoptive mother has implemented this connection. I can see it wasn’t your ‘real’ mum’s choice to give you up. Your adoptive mother is very spiritual and is with you and saying you have her blessing. Your ‘real’ mum will never replace her.
