Take a Break Fate & Fortune

Could BABY tear us apart?

-

Q

My wife really wants a baby and, due to her age, she wants to start trying for one as soon as possible. However, I’m 20 years older than her and the idea of having to bring up a baby at my age is quite daunting. I really love her and want to make her happy, but don’t have any kids of my own and have never really wanted any. But I know how important this is to her so I’ve agreed to go along with it. How will it affect our relationship if we do become parents?

A

I’m sorry to say that having a baby you don’t really want will have a massive impact on your relationship and I fear you will regret it. Sometimes, we must put ourselves first and it’s time to be honest by opening up to your wife before you get too far down the line. You need to help her understand your concerns before it’s too late. As I tune in to your wife’s energy, I can tell she loves you and will stand by your decision but will never understand it. However, she won’t blame you for the decision and you will make it together.
