Will BOOK be a success soon?

Q I’ve been writing for years and even attended classes. Several pals I met there have landed publishing deals while I’m still seeking stardom. Am I doomed to be a failure?

A Comparing yourself to others is never a good idea, it sets you up in a negative mindset which can hold you back. The pendulum says you will be published, but that you might have to be patient as it won’t happen yet. These days many people get round this problem by selfpublishing and, if you start looking into that, I sense the correct publisher will find you.
