Take a Break Fate & Fortune

Wow that’s absolutely gorgeous, it’s so good to know that Dad’s happy and well.

He was an intelligent man with sharp sense of humour and we had a strong connection, I have his quirks and mannerisms.

It’s 10 years since he passed away but I still can’t quite believe it. I was still growing up really, just becoming an adult, and could be a horrible brat at times. I’m on the cusp of tears now just thinking about him, wishing he could sit beside me and talk about stuff.

It’s strange because some of the words he uses in the letter don’t sound exactly like him – Dad would never have used the word ‘darling’ for instance.

But the way he describes his life now makes me think he’s reverted to the soul part of existence, rather than the human part. Perhaps this is his higher self speaking?

This is not the first lifetime Dad and I have had together either. I had a reading a couple of years ago and discovered I’ve been his daughter in previous lifetimes too. He was a tribal leader and I was his daughter so we have a soul connection.

Dad loved anything to do with nature, especially gardening and walking, but I wasn’t expecting him to enjoy fishing so much

– he was never very keen on it before. I think he found it a bit dull because he had a lot of energy and liked being on the go. Maybe he’s chilled out a bit now!

He was always openminded but I can’t imagine him in robes – he was definitely a jeans and t-shirt man, though he liked to look smart and tidy. However, our souls evolve when we go to higher planes

The most important thing, though, is that he’s still my dad and he sounds so happy.
