Take a Break Fate & Fortune

‘There was something attached to me’

-

As I woke up, I looked over groggily to see my husband, Andy, lying next to me.

‘Can you go downstairs and let the dogs out? I asked.

Eventually, he got up and walked out of the bedroom.

Strange, I thought. He didn’t even say a word to me.

I went after him and found him lying on the sofa, seemingly asleep. I shook him awake.

‘Why didn’t you answer me, that was a bit rude,’ I said.

‘I’ve been here for hours,’ Andy replied, confused.

I was terrified, knowing that in that moment, the ‘thing’ I’d seen under the covers was not my loving husband but the evil spirit possessing me.

I’d been a happy mum-of-two until I started feeling exhausted, drained and anxious.

Weird scratches and bruises appeared on my body, and I even ended up in hospital once with a cut head after being flung against a wall.

Medical checks revealed nothing psychological was wrong with me, so my husband suggested we call in Ian.

When I opened the front door to him, I started coughing — it was as though the spirit inside me was trying to repel him.

‘I feel the spirit has attached itself to you, rather than possessed you,’ Ian told me.

But I was determined to get better and allowed Ian to carry out the exorcism.

Ian tried to make the spirit release its name, but it wouldn’t.

So he used the exorcism prayer as well as throwing holy water on me and managed to drive the bad spirit away.

Afterwards, I became my old self again — energetic, free and happy.

I looked at myself in the mirror and put my make-up on for the first time in 16 years.

I feel that Ian has given me and my family our lives back and I’m so grateful to him.
