Take a Break Fate & Fortune

Dad died from a heart attack, but it wasn’t his first one.

I had a cyst removed from my brain, which was giving me really bad headaches. They have come back recently so I’m undergoing more tests to get to the bottom of it.

Yes, it’s true that I’m having a few issues with my partner. Dad was always one to give me advice — even if I didn’t want it!

My son Kai graduates from university soon, where he’s studying criminology. I think

Mandy is referring to what he does next with his life, which is still to be seen.

My elder daughter Aaliyah, 15, always wants, wants, wants! So what Dad said is true. Out of my three children, she’s the one I can see wanting to travel the world when she’s older as she always wants to be outside doing something and never stuck at home. She does wear glasses and has been having headaches lately, so I’ll take that message from Mandy as a nudge to book her in for another eye appointment.

Lani, three, is what Dad used to call his ‘little wallbreaker’ because she’s quite boisterous! Lani loves her food, just like Dad, and does have a habit of eating too fast and choking a bit. She was just over a year old when he passed, so she wouldn’t remember him, but after he left us, she used to get out her toy phone and say she was ‘talking to Grandad!’

I want to move out of London to live by the sea. That’s always been my dream. The garden where I am now is like a jungle!

I agree that a new path may be ahead of me as I’ve been thinking of retraining in a different career. I’m a healthcare assistant and, although I enjoy it, I’m not really going anywhere with it and I’m 41 now. Maybe it’s time for a change.

I’ll look out for this lady called Jackie, although it sounds as though I’m better off not meeting her in the first place!

Wow, what a lovely reading. Thanks, Mandy.
