Yvonne couldn' t believe her luck. According to the news website, her favourite movie star of all time, Johnny Green, was staying at the penthouse of a hotel just a street away from the office building where she worked.

Shouldn' t you be working?' said a voice in her ear.

Yvonne jumped.

Luckily, it was only Karen, a fellow data-entry operator.

For a minute there, I thought you were the boss.'

Yeah, I would have jumped too then, you don' t want to be caught using the internet for personal use.' Karen bent over and looked at the screen. Ooh, Johnny Green. What a hunk. Didn' t realise you were fan.'

You kidding me? Surely I told you before I' ve seen every movie he' s been in, have every movie on DVD, have collected every bit of merchandise I can find. If there wasn' t a company policy about not cluttering our workstations with personal items, I' d have him all over my desk here too. I have the cutest bobble-head figurine that I would put right there. So I could look at it whenever I got bored.'

Well, that would be all day then, wouldn' t it?' Karen laughed. Seriously though, aren' t you a little old for the whole teenybopper celebrity crush thing?'

What I feel isn' t just a crush.' Yvonne' s eyes lit up. Sure, I' m his biggest fan, but I just know if I had half a chance to talk to him, he' d realise I was someone worth getting to know.'

Yvonne, don' t take this the wrong way,' Karen began. I mean, yes, you' re really pretty, great figure and bubbly personality, but you can' t be serious. He' s a movie star, and you' re just one of us ordinary people.'

Hey, if a girl from across the pond can land herself a prince, then what' s wrong with me setting my sights on Mr Dreamy Greeny? And with him in the country and only a street away, I' m not going to let this opportunity slip by.'

As lunch she soon headed break as Yvonne' straight arrived, s for there the was hotel. a massive Unfortunately, crowd of teenagers autograph clutching books at the pens front and of the building. How was Johnny supposed to know she wasn' t just an ordinary fan with all these other girls around?

At that moment, she spotted a Just Flowers van parked in a side lane next to the bank across the road its back doors were wide open.

She had an idea. She knew he flowers the

She didn' t want to interrupt, or give him a chance to say no, so she grabbed a bunch of flowers in a gift box which she' d pay Mick for later plus an official-looking clipboard that was hanging nearby, then hurried towards the hotel.

Yvonne couldn' t believe how easy it was to convince the receptionist she really was delivering flowers and soon found herself knocking on the door of the penthouse. She couldn' t wait to see her idol.

She just knew Johnny would take one look at her and be smitten, but when the door opened two security guards stood there instead, blocking her way.

Flowers, huh?' said one of the guards. nd He took the flowers and inspected them.

Yvonne did her best to peer over his shoulder.

Where was Johnny?

What the hell is this?' said the guard.

He pulled out a handgun that had been hidden in the flower arrangement.

The other guard grabbed her arms.

Call the police,' he said to his partner.

Wait! There' s been a mistake,' said Yvonne, confused.

When the police arrived, she tried to explain.

A stern-faced officer said: So let me get this right. You know Mick?'

Yes.'

And you took these flowers out of his van?'

Yes. I thought Mick would understand that I would do absolutely anything to see Johnny Green. You won' t arrest me for being an over-enthusiastic fan will you?'

No,' said the officer, pulling out his handcuffs. But we can arrest you for being part of Mick' s gang that just robbed the bank across the road.'

She couldn't wait to see her idol. She just knew that Johnny would take one look at her and be smitten
