New store shows shopping centre has still got star appeal
ANKERSIDE shopping centre’s newest store proves it can still “attract a high end fashion retailer” as bosses hope similar names will “follow their lead”.
The arrival of Atrium Menswear, which officially opened between Iceland and Claire’s on Monday, March 25, is a welcome boost to the centre and area after the sad closure of Boots just two days before.
And bosses believe it could lead to others joining the scheme as well.
Welcoming the opening, Mark Burbridge, centre manager, told the Herald: “The arrival of Atrium at
Ankerside Shopping Centre is a message that we can still attract a high end fashion retailer to the scheme who is prepared to also invest in a fantastic fit out and we hope other similar retailers will follow their lead.”
Atrium Menswear is a growing fashion company specialising in dress wear for formal occasions, stocking “the largest suiting range in the Midlands”.
Along with professional advice it offers a range of suiting brands like Cavani, Fratelli and Marc Darcy.
A spokesperson explained: “As a brand we inspire and guide, helping men feel amazing whatever the occasion, from relaxing at the weekend to attending parties, proms, races or even your own wedding.
“Lacoste, Lyle and Scott, Barbour and other leading designer brands will be stocked in our stores giving the casual look a different vibe.
“Get the style and fit that’s right for you. Free 1-2-1 appointments are available in our Atrium store. Why not call and book your wedding appointment today? Now also stocking boys suits from 1 years of age to 15.”
