Teachers more critical of Ofsted the longer they have been in the job, survey finds (stedcritics)

Everyone, from politicians to parents, uses Ofsted as a blunt tool to judge schools with. We could argue how the ‘tool’ could be more accurate, but when it is wielded as a weapon, it makes little difference if it’s an axe or a sledgehammer.

Our latest two Ofsted inspections were dreadful, with inaccurate reporting of statistics, rudeness to staff, etc. It’s hard to imagine a group of people less wellequipped to judge a school.

Ofsted are bad enough, but the way some heads make it Ofsted every day, just in case, is totally ridiculous.
