NEXT MONTH – MARCH 2021 ISSUE
In the March issue we are visiting the infamous Battle of the Somme, but we will be presenting it as you’ve never seen before. Peter Jackson’s brilliant They Shall Not Grow Old showed the value in bring to life images that are over 100 years old and we will be doing the same for our coverage of this bloodiest of battles. It raged from July to November in 1916, involved over three million men and resulted in excess of one million casualties, making it one of deadliest battles in history. Despite the appalling losses, it was a nominal victory for the British and French.
Also in the March issue we are taking a look at the Navajo Code Talkers of WWII, the Siege of Seringapatam in the Far East, the incredible plot to assassinate Hitler in Operation Foxley, the next instalment of forgotten British uniforms in the 1925 Pattern, Japanese Pederson rifles, WWI collectables, the next secret Nazi project of WWII and an article on medals.
