PARADE MARCH OF THE GREAT POTOMAC ARMY
In this example of Charles Fradel’s march we have a fine portrait of Major-General George Brinton McClennan who during the American Civil War had played an important role in the formation and organisation of the Army of the Potomac. Two infantrymen are included in the image, one a Zouave wearing a blue jacket and red waistcoat and pantaloons.
