Allied Armour 1939-1945
ANTHONY TUCKER-JONES
The prolific Tucker-Jones turns his attention to British and American tanks in the deserts of North
Africa, the terrible terrain in Italy, the hedgerows in Normandy, the jungles of the Far East and the drive into Germany. It’s less a history of British and American tanks, let alone Allied tanks, and more an operation history of the battles that they took part in. A glossy photo plate section adds detail but it feels like an incomplete history of WWII rather than a look at the tanks that fought it.
