I thought this may interest you and your readers. I have written a book about my Uncle, William James (Bill) Bloys, who was one of our originals, trained to jump by parachute at Hardwick Hall. Bill’s war reads like a roll call of Regimental battle honours. He served at Tamera in North Africa, Primosole Bridge in Sicily, Italy and Arnhem.
