M3 Medium Tank
DAVID DOYLE
Looking at the design of the M3 Medium Tank you’d think it was a leftover from WWI or had been developed in the 1920s. However, that was far from the case and the aim of sticking a 75mm main gun in the side of the ungainly vehicle, with a 37mm cannon in the top turret was developed as war broke out. This is a Legends of Warfare: Ground title, so it has copious photographs of prototypes, the insides, and the tank and its derivatives in action. This is backed up with technical detail on all the versions and represent a high quality, coffee-table style look at the tank that saw action in North Africa.
