COLLECTING THE SET

The standard 1958 Pattern Set is still very common and a full set can be obtained for around £20-£30 depending on condition. The early pattern items such as the vertical ammunition pouch and early pattern yoke, kidney pouches, cape carrier and water bottle pouches are all much scarcer and more sought after and can command prices of £50 or more each, although careful hunting through surplus equipment can yield good results for much less money.
